It is a right-angle check valve, a layout that permits perpendicular porting in tight manifolds. A spring-biased closure holds the poppet against the seat until flow pressure rises, guaranteeing prompt resealing when flow stops. The cracking pressure is 50 psi, so the line must reach this value before the valve opens. A nominal flow capacity of 25 l/min supports moderate-volume systems without excessive restriction.
