The 4KD25-N2W-S3 check valve is built by Vickers as part of the Check Valves series and is used to block or allow hydraulic flow in automated circuits. An inline cavity lets the body fit directly within a manifold passage, while the screw-in cartridge installation type speeds service exchange in the field. Pilot-operated actuation lets a remote pressure signal open the seat against system pressure, allowing controlled reverse flow at command. The unit tolerates working pressures up to 700 bar and passes a maximum flow of 25 L/min without excessive restriction. A 1/4 BSP port thread provides standard pipe connectivity, and the design offers three valve ports so circuit designers can integrate pilot lines without external tees.
A 25:1 pilot ratio means the pilot passage needs only one twenty-fifth of the checked line pressure to shift the poppet, improving responsiveness in high-pressure loops. The valve is supplied without a pilot piston seal, which reduces internal parts count where additional sealing is unnecessary. Internal leakage is limited to 0.25 cc/min, supporting circuits that demand near-zero backflow. A steel housing resists fatigue under pressure cycling, and overall dimensions remain compact at 59.995 mm in length, 56.998 mm in height, and 3.000 in in width, fitting densely packed manifolds.
