The 4CT10DA21 check valve is manufactured by Vickers and belongs to the Check Valves series. It prevents reverse flow in hydraulic circuits while enabling controlled pilot action for automation tasks. With a nominal size of 1-1/4 in, the body is configured with a 1-1/4 NPTF system port, and the port thread type is NPTF to secure metal-to-metal sealing under pressure. A nominal flow rating of 300 l/min (75 US gpm) accommodates high pump output, while the maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi) sets the service limit. The poppet opens only after a cracking pressure of 2 bar (30 psi), minimizing standby leakage, and a decompression poppet is fitted to release trapped fluid gradually. A pilot/check area ratio of 2.6:1 ensures that a modest pilot line pressure can unseat the main poppet for remote control.
The pilot port is threaded .5625-18 UNF-2B, and a pilot/decompression area ratio of 77:1 multiplies the pilot signal to drive the decompression poppet smoothly. System monitoring is supported by a gage port threaded .4375-20 UNF, and the port accepts a 1/4-in tube for direct connection of pressure instruments. The valve stands 193.802 mm (7.630 in) tall, measures 107.950 mm (4.250 in) in length, and is 99.060 mm (3.900 in) wide, permitting mounting in confined manifolds. Viton (F3) seals resist high temperature hydraulic fluids and many synthetic blends, helping the valve remain leak-free during continuous operation.
