The 4CT-10-A-20UB check valve belongs to the Check Valves series produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation systems that need secure load holding and controlled flow reversal. As a pilot operated check valve, it admits flow when pilot pressure is present and blocks it when absent. The poppet begins to lift at a cracking pressure of 2 bar (30 psi), letting oil pass only after the threshold is reached. A nominal valve size of 1-1/4 in matches common cylinder ports, while the system side uses a 1-1/4 NPTF thread for direct pipe attachment. The unit handles a nominal flow of 300 l/min (75 US gpm) without excessive pressure loss and sustains a maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi).
Pilot control is routed through a .5625-18 UNF-2B threaded port so standard hydraulic tube ends can be installed without adapters. A pilot-to-poppet area ratio of 2.6:1 multiplies the pilot force, ensuring the poppet opens quickly under command. Two gage ports threaded .4375-20 UNF allow pressure checks on both sides of the seat during setup or troubleshooting. Three system connections are provided, letting designers route inlet, outlet, and pilot lines directly to the body. Viton seals are supplied as standard to withstand petroleum-based fluids and elevated temperatures encountered in continuous-duty machinery.
