The 4CT-06-A-20-GE5-JA-J check valve is produced by Vickers in the Check Valves series for use in hydraulic automation systems that need one-way flow control. The valve matches circuits built with 3/4-inch pipe or tube because its nominal valve size is 3/4 pipe or 3/4 tube. Forward flow begins when inlet pressure reaches 2 bar (30 psi) so downstream components stay isolated until the set threshold is met. Under continuous service it passes 100 l/min (30 USgpm), and the passage causes a pressure drop of 2.7 bar (40 psi) at that flow. The body is designed for pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi) and weighs 5.7 kg (12.5 lb), allowing straightforward manifold or line mounting.
A pilot-to-poppet area ratio of 3.12:1 lets a relatively low pilot pressure override the check function when reverse flow is required. The pilot line threads into a 9/16-18 UNF-2B port, and the main system port is threaded 3/4 NPTF to integrate with standard hydraulic piping. A gage connection is provided through a 7/16-20 UNF port and accepts a 1/4-inch outside-diameter tube so service personnel can monitor pressure locally. The manufacturer specifies oil cleanliness of ISO 4406 code 20/18/15 or better to maintain seat integrity and minimize leakage.
