The 4CG-10-DA-21 is a manifold/subplate mounted check valve produced by Vickers within the Check Valves series. It blocks reverse flow and permits forward flow in hydraulic automation circuits. The unit handles system pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi) and cracks open at 2 bar (30 psi) to limit pressure drop. A nominal valve size of 1-1/4 in supports common pipe or tubing runs, while the nominal flow rating of 300 L/min (75 USgpm) meets mid-range delivery requirements. The pilot gallery employs a 2.6:1 pilot ratio for normal check operation so controlled pressure can override the poppet when needed. Precise manifold alignment is supported by a counterbore diameter of 15.09 mm (0.594 in).
The decompression function uses a 77:1 pilot ratio to vent trapped pressure before full opening occurs. Six mounting holes each machined to 10.31 mm (0.406 in) fasten the body to the subplate, and two gauge ports with 7/16-20 UNF straight threads provide access for pressure measurement. The valve weighs 11.8 kg (26 lb), so adequate handling equipment is advised during installation. These features combine to fit standard manifold layouts and maintain reliable performance in demanding hydraulic systems.
