The 180L1022 solenoid valve is manufactured by Danfoss for the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is intended to control liquid flow in hydraulic automation systems. An actuator size of 13.5 mm establishes the physical stroke available for magnetic actuation, while a body made from AISI 304 stainless steel offers corrosion resistance to typical process fluids. The valve reaches full open position in no more than 900 ms, allowing moderate response times for cycle-based control. A maximum flow capacity of 150 l/min supports medium-volume circuits. Both the inlet and outlet are sized at 1 in, so line sizing remains consistent across the valve. Threaded BSP connections simplify installation in pipework using the common British Standard Pipe pattern, and the overall connection type is thread to permit easy removal during maintenance.
The valve closes fully in up to 2000 ms, defining the longest delay before shutoff once power is removed. It operates safely between 4 barg and 140 barg, giving a wide pressure range suitable for many hydraulic supply networks. A 35 mm piston diameter provides the sealing surface needed to withstand these pressures. An FKM seal is fitted to resist chemical attack from hydraulic oils and maintain elasticity over time. The minimum fluid temperature of 2 °C and the maximum of 90 °C specify the permissible operating window for media entering the valve, ensuring the elastomers and metal components remain within their design limits.
