The 180L1015 solenoid valve is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is intended to start or stop liquid flow in hydraulic automation loops. It is pilot operated, allowing system pressure to help shift the main seat for reduced coil power. An angleway flow path turns the medium through ninety degrees to save space in compact manifolds, while the 2/2 layout provides a simple two-port on-off function. The valve handles up to 120 l/min, giving adequate capacity for medium-flow circuits. An actuator size of 13.5 mm supplies the stroke needed to drive the pilot pin, and a 35 mm piston diameter guides the main seal for stable closure. The body is machined from AISI 304 stainless steel to combat corrosion, and an FKM seal resists hydraulic oils and moderate heat.
A threaded connection style simplifies installation because no welding is required, and BSP sizing matches common plant fittings for global interchangeability. Both inlet and outlet ports are 3/4 in, keeping line losses balanced across the valve. The unit opens in at most 700 ms for prompt flow delivery and closes in no more than 1200 ms to minimize shock when shutting down. It can operate against pressures up to 140 barg, making it suitable for high-pressure test rigs or power units, and it tolerates media temperatures to 90 °C so warm hydraulic oil does not degrade performance.
