The 180L1013 solenoid valve is produced by Danfoss for the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and controls fluid passages in hydraulic automation loops. It uses pilot operated actuation and provides a 2/2 way configuration so flow is either fully open or closed within the circuit. An actuator size of 13.5 mm supplies the stroke force required to shift the 35.1 mm piston, while the body is built from AISI 304 stainless steel to resist wear from hydraulic oils. Flow enters through a 1 in port machined with NPT threads for standard pipe connections, and sealing is maintained by FKM elastomers compatible with common media. The assembly withstands operating pressures up to 140 barg, allowing placement on high-pressure supply lines without additional reinforcement.
For dynamic duty the valve opens in no more than 900 ms and closes within 2000 ms, timings that let the controller synchronize pressure transitions. It supports a maximum flow of 150 l/min so cylinders or motors receive adequate volume at rated demand. Continuous service is permitted with media temperatures between 2 °C and 90 °C, covering chilled water through to moderately hot oil in hydraulic skids. The design needs at least 51 psig upstream pressure to maintain pilot function, a threshold that keeps the main orifice stable during throttling. These performance limits complete the operational profile and detail how the 180L1013 model fits into medium-response hydraulic manifolds.
