The 180L1012 solenoid valve is part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series from Danfoss and is intended to start or stop fluid flow in hydraulic automation circuits. It uses pilot-operated switching, so a small coil moves a 13.5 mm actuator that in turn shifts the main seat for reduced power demand at high line pressure. The valve has a 2/2 configuration to provide straightforward on-off control between its single inlet and single outlet. Both ports are 3/4 in and cut to BSP threads, which simplifies installation in common hydraulic manifolds. An AISI 304 stainless-steel body resists corrosion from water-glycol or light oil media, while an FKM seal maintains tight shutoff when exposed to a broad range of compatible fluids.
For flow regulation the 180L1012 passes up to 120 l/min when fully open, matching medium-capacity power units. It remains responsive at pressures from 4 barg to 140 barg, allowing the same valve to serve both low-pressure return lines and high-pressure supply circuits. Acceptable media temperatures range from 2 °C to 90 °C, so the component suits chilled water as well as warm hydraulic oil. Dynamic behavior is defined by a maximum opening time of 700 ms and a maximum closing time of 1200 ms, which supports sequences that do not demand sub-second switching yet still require reliable timing. Together these limits confirm stable performance across the specified pressure and temperature envelope.
