The 180L1010 solenoid valve is manufactured by Danfoss and belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series. It is intended for hydraulic automation systems where remote electrical actuation regulates oil flow. The unit is supplied with NPT 3/4 inlet and outlet threads, so it mates directly with standard pipe work. A normally closed function keeps the passage shut until the coil is energized, providing fail-safe shutoff. Under full duty it handles a maximum pressure of 140 barg (2000 psig), allowing installation on high-pressure circuits. A nominal flow capacity of 120 l/min (32 gpm) supports medium throughput applications without excessive pressure loss.

The valve weighs 10.5 kg (23.2 lb) without the coil, a factor to consider when mounting on manifolds or line supports. Its internal piston measures 35.1 mm in diameter, setting the actuator area that responds to magnetic force. Stable performance is achieved at an operating pressure of 3.5 barg (51 psig), enabling reliable closure when de-energized. Process fluids can reach temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F) without degrading sealing elements or response time, so the device suits warm hydraulic oils common in power units.
