The 180L1003 solenoid valve is produced by Danfoss as part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is intended to direct hydraulic media in automated equipment. It mounts on a manifold block, using a 35 mm piston that shifts when the coil is energized to open or close the passage. A BSP inlet measuring 3/4 in connects the supply side, and a matching 3/4 in BSP outlet keeps port sizing uniform through the circuit. The assembly tolerates pressures up to 140 barg, allowing it to manage high-pressure lines without auxiliary pressure control devices.

The valve operates with media temperatures up to 90 °C, enabling use with warm hydraulic oils and other process fluids common to industrial automation. Its internal flow path permits a maximum rate of 120 l/min so downstream actuators receive the required volume during rapid cycling. Together, the defined temperature limit and flow capacity establish reliable service margins for machinery that depends on prompt solenoid-driven switching within compact manifold arrangements.
