The 180L1002 solenoid valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss to switch hydraulic flow on and off in automation systems. Its 2/2 configuration supplies one inlet path and one outlet path for simple line isolation when the coil is de-energized. Because the connections are arranged for manifold mounting, the valve can be fitted directly into a hydraulic block to reduce external piping. Both the inlet and outlet ports are 1 in to keep line sizing consistent, and each port follows the BSP thread standard so common fittings can be used during installation.

A 35 mm piston diameter sets the sealing area that the electromagnetic actuator moves, balancing required coil force with passage size. The design handles up to 150 l/min of hydraulic fluid, which supports medium-flow circuits without significant pressure loss. Maximum operating pressure is 140 barg, allowing the valve to work in high-pressure mobile or industrial applications. Accepted media temperatures reach 90 °C, so the unit remains reliable in warm fluid return lines. The assembly weighs 4.426 kg, providing enough mass for stable seating in the manifold while still permitting manual handling during maintenance.
