The 180L0243 solenoid valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss for hydraulic automation loops where on/off control of fluid flow is required. It is a two-way, two-position unit, so the internal poppet either fully opens or fully blocks the passage depending on coil excitation. The valve uses a straightway flow path that minimizes pressure drop in compact manifolds. Servo-operated actuation allows the coil to shift a pilot stage, which then moves the main poppet with limited electrical power. An actuator size of 13.5 mm defines the pilot diameter and sets the force balance between hydraulic pressure and magnetic pull.
