The 180L0196 valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series produced by Danfoss for hydraulic automation that requires rapid on-off control of neutral process liquids. It employs a 2/2 flow path so the coil either fully opens or completely closes the passage according to the logic signal. A 13.5 mm actuator size provides the stroke length and magnetic force needed for reliable shifting under load. The wetted parts are machined from AISI 304 stainless steel, and the internal seals are molded from FKM to maintain tight shutoff across service life. Handling neutral media between 2 °C and 90 °C lets the unit serve cooling circuits, wash systems, and other moderate-temperature lines. BSP threaded ports support manifold mounting, and the thread form simplifies replacement with standard shop tooling.
The valve passes up to 120 l/min, supporting medium flow branches without inducing excessive pressure drop. It remains responsive from 4 barg to 140 barg, allowing the same model to operate on low-pressure pilot circuits or high-pressure main feeds. Both inlet and outlet ports share a 3/4-inch size to keep piping uniform and minimize the inventory of adapters. Flow is directed through the central cavity, so component change-out requires only two union breaks instead of full line disassembly. The wide pressure window eliminates the need to stock multiple valve codes for different machine sections, reducing maintenance complexity, while the generous flow rate ensures actuators receive consistent supply during peak demand.
