The 180L0174 solenoid valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series from Danfoss and is built to direct hydraulic flow in automated systems. A 13.5 mm actuator drives an 18 mm piston to shift the spool, while the AISI 304 body resists corrosion from hydraulic oil. The device offers 3/2 switching so a single coil can alternately feed and vent a circuit. Fluid enters through a 3/8 in NPT inlet, and the design handles pressures from 2 barg up to 140 barg. Flow capability ranges from 1 l/min for fine metering to 15 l/min for full service. An opening time of 250 ms keeps the response moderate to avoid hammer when lines charge.
A matching 3/8 in NPT outlet returns flow, and a 1/4 in NPT drain port releases any trapped oil to tank. The valve closes in the same 250 ms interval to maintain symmetrical timing in sequential circuits. FKM seals contain the medium without swelling, supporting temperatures between 2 °C and 50 °C so the unit can work in lightly warmed reservoirs or chilled lines. Those materials, combined with the stainless body, help sustain leak-free operation under the stated pressure range. These features let the 180L0174 provide consistent on-off control where moderate temperature, medium pressure, and precise porting are required.
