The 180L0122 solenoid valve is produced by Danfoss as part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is intended for hydraulic automation where reliable on/off control is needed. It uses a pilot-operated mechanism that opens or closes the main passage with a 13.5 mm actuator supplying the magnetic force. An AISI 304 stainless-steel body resists corrosion and preserves strength under demanding service conditions. Flow is redirected through an angleway path, letting piping turn ninety degrees without extra elbows. Both the inlet and outlet are 3/4 in and cut with BSP threads to match common hydraulic pipework. The design withstands pressures from 4 bar g to 140 bar g, enabling use in low-differential as well as high-pressure circuits. Media temperatures may range from 2 °C to 90 °C so the valve can handle chilled water, oils, or moderately hot process fluids.
When energized, a 35 mm piston lifts clear of the seat and permits a maximum flow of 120 L/min, giving fast response for medium-capacity actuators and lines. The two-way, two-position layout provides a single inlet and outlet, delivering straightforward isolation without additional ports. Because the piston presents a large area to the fluid, system pressure assists movement and limits coil heating. FKM seals contain the medium and resist a broad spectrum of oils and refrigerants while maintaining tight shut-off across the specified temperature range. These combined features let the 180L0122 cycle quickly and repeatedly in hydraulic equipment that demands dependable control at elevated pressure levels.
