The 180L0110 solenoid valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series from Danfoss and is used in hydraulic automation to start or stop fluid flow on command. This angleway, two-way unit directs the medium through a right-angle path and employs pilot operation, so only a 13.5 mm actuator moves first before the main 35 mm piston follows. The body is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and both the inlet and outlet are 1 in BSP threads to match common pipework. These construction elements provide compact installation, thread compatibility, and reduced coil energy during switching.
The valve carries a maximum flow rate of 150 l/min and tolerates system pressures up to 140 barg, enabling use on high-pressure hydraulic manifolds. Reliable opening requires at least 4 barg differential pressure, which ensures the pilot stage can lift the main piston fully. FKM sealing keeps leakage low while allowing operation with media temperatures from 2 °C to 90 °C, so the unit handles chilled or moderately heated hydraulic oil without loss of elasticity.
