The 180L0101 valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series from Danfoss and is intended to manage on-off flow in hydraulic automation loops. It is normally open, so fluid passes until the coil is energized, and the pilot-operated design lowers the magnetic force required for actuation. Two ports arranged in a 2/2 layout give simple inlet and outlet control. A 18 mm piston transfers pilot pressure to the main seat, while an AISI 304 body houses an FKM seal. The assembly tolerates working pressures up to 160 barg and carries media as hot as 90 °C without degradation.
The valve incorporates a 13.5 mm actuator that reaches the full stroke in no more than 125 ms and reseats within 300 ms when de-energized. Flow enters through a 3/8 in threaded BSP inlet, and the angleway passage directs the medium through a right-angle outlet to ease piping. Threaded connections speed removal during service while maintaining a secure seal. At peak differential the device passes up to 30 l/min, matching moderate flow demands in compact circuits. These characteristics outline the remaining functional limits of the 180L0101 model.
