The 180L0095 solenoid valve is part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series produced by Danfoss for hydraulic automation where remote electrical control of oil flow is required. The valve is pilot operated, so system pressure assists in moving the main poppet and lowers coil energy demand. Its 2/2 configuration provides either open or closed service on a single line. An actuator size of 13.5 mm defines the stroke force that the pilot section must deliver, while a piston diameter of 18 mm sets the effective flow cross-section and influences response time. The housing is machined from AISI 304 stainless steel to withstand corrosive fluids, and FKM sealing elements maintain tight shut-off when exposed to common hydraulic oils. Both inlet and outlet ports are 1/2 inch, giving uniform pipework on each side, and the BSP threaded connection simplifies installation without welding.
The valve passes up to 60 L/min, a capacity suitable for medium flow power units while keeping pressure loss low. It remains operational at system pressures as high as 160 barg, allowing placement directly on high-pressure headers, yet the pilot stage still functions with as little as 4 barg to secure opening reliability. Media temperatures between 2 °C and 90 °C are permitted, so the device covers cold-start conditions and elevated oil temperatures encountered during continuous duty. These flow, pressure, and temperature limits define the working envelope of the 180L0095 when it is mounted in hydraulic manifolds that rely on corrosion-resistant construction, chemically stable seals, and balanced porting.
