The 180L0094 solenoid valve belongs to the VDHT Solenoid Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss. It provides on-off control for hydraulic automation circuits that require reliable actuation without manual intervention. The valve uses a pilot-operated mechanism to actuate a straightway path between two ports, and its 2/2 configuration simplifies system layouts by allowing direct flow or complete shut-off. A body machined from AISI 304 stainless steel offers corrosion resistance, while an FKM seal withstands exposure to commonly used hydraulic oils and refrigerants. Threaded interfaces follow the BSP connection standard, and both the inlet and outlet are 1/2 in, so installers can connect the unit to standard pipe runs without adapters. The actuator size is 13.5 mm, which keeps the coil package compact yet still supplies enough force to switch the valve under rated conditions.

The 180L0094 supports operating pressures from 4 barg up to 160 barg, allowing it to serve both low-pressure return lines and high-pressure supply manifolds with the same hardware. When fully open, a maximum flow of 60 l/min can pass through the 18 mm piston, limiting velocity and minimizing cavitation across the seat. The generous piston diameter also reduces pressure drop, helping pumps maintain efficiency at elevated flow rates. Process liquids can enter the valve at temperatures as low as 2 °C or as high as 90 °C, so the component functions in chilled water loops, ambient hydraulic oil lines, and moderately heated washing systems without material degradation. By combining this temperature span with the stated pressure and flow capabilities, the solenoid valve offers a broad operating window for centralized hydraulic power units and individual machine actuators.
