The 180L0092 solenoid valve is manufactured by Danfoss and is part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series for hydraulic automation where electrical control of fluid shut-off is needed. It is a 2/2 device, so it alternates between fully open and fully closed positions on a single flow path. Pilot-operated actuation uses system pressure to move the 18 mm piston, which lowers coil power requirements during operation. The straightway flow design reduces internal restriction. An AISI 304 stainless-steel body offers corrosion resistance in aggressive environments, while an FKM seal maintains tight closure against common hydraulic oils. BSP threaded ports sized 3/8 in match industry piping standards and allow direct connection without adapters.
The valve supports a usable differential pressure range from 4 barg to 160 barg, covering both low-pressure circulation loops and high-pressure supply lines found in industrial machinery. Maximum flow capacity is 30 L/min, enabling controlled delivery of medium volumes without cavitation. Acceptable media temperatures span 2 °C to 90 °C, so the unit functions with chilled fluids as well as moderately hot hydraulic oil. These operating limits make the 180L0092 suitable for precise on/off service in equipment such as presses, clamping circuits, and directional feed systems where consistent performance across wide pressure and temperature ranges is required.
