The 180L0015 solenoid valve is part of the VDHT Solenoid Valves series manufactured by Danfoss for on-off control in hydraulic automation systems. Its body uses AISI 304 stainless steel to resist corrosion when exposed to hydraulic oils or water-glycol mixtures. The valve is pilot operated, so the coil only moves a small pilot stage while the main flow is shifted by system pressure. A 2/2 way configuration offers a single inlet and outlet path that can be opened or shut as required by the control logic. Both the inlet and outlet are sized at 1/2 in to match common pipe fittings in medium-flow circuits. A piston diameter of 18 mm sets the available cross-section for the process fluid and influences required pilot pressure. The base follows the Cetop 3 standard, allowing direct mounting on compatible sub-plates without additional adapters.
The valve supports operating pressures from 4 to 140 barg, enabling use in low-pressure priming lines as well as high-pressure actuator feeds. It accommodates flows between 1 and 60 l/min, so the same model can serve small positioning cylinders or larger hydraulic motors. A maximum opening time of 150 ms delivers quick energize response, and a closing time limited to 350 ms prevents pressure shocks during shutdown. Acceptable media temperatures span 3 to 50 °C, keeping internal clearances stable in most mobile and industrial environments. FKM sealing elements maintain leak-tight performance with common mineral oils and synthetic fluids across that temperature window. Together, the stated pressure span and flow capability let designers predict actuator speed without oversizing auxiliary components.
