The 061L1357 valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss for switching flow direction in hydraulic automation circuits. A copper construction resists corrosion while keeping weight low, and the component remains functional between ambient temperatures of -30 °C and 55 °C so it can operate in a wide range of equipment rooms. Medium temperatures from -30 °C up to 160 °C allow the same unit to handle cold fluid during shutdown and hot fluid during heating cycles. A maximum working pressure of 49 bar defines the highest system pressure tolerated during change-over, and the operating differential can be adjusted between 3 bar and 31 bar to match pump characteristics. Internal tightness is limited to 6000 cm³ per minute, controlling bypass flow when the valve is closed. A 28.9 mm female discharge connection simplifies brazed joints on the high-pressure side, and the valve passes up to 36.96 kW when charged with R407C, supporting mid-capacity heat pumps.
The suction side uses a 35.22 mm port, providing a larger flow path that minimizes pressure drop during return flow. Net mass is 0.37 kg so installers can support the line by hand while brazing without additional fixtures. Resistance to 19.6 m/s² vibration keeps the slider and seals stable on compressors that generate high dynamic loads. When the circuit is charged with R410A, the same body carries 47.77 kW, giving designers the option to boost capacity by changing refrigerant without resizing pipework.
