The 061L1355 reversing valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss for hydraulic automation circuits that must switch flow direction under demanding service conditions. It can be installed in environments from -30 °C to 55 °C, so cabinets and outdoor equipment share the same component without added heaters or coolers. Internal passages handle media between -30 °C and 160 °C, allowing hot-gas routing as well as low-temperature return lines in heat-pump loops. The body withstands a maximum working pressure of 49 bar, giving headroom for modern high-efficiency compressors. A minimum operating differential of 3 bar is required to shift the slide, while the maximum operating differential reaches 31 bar, preventing mis-shifts when line pressures fluctuate. All process connections are copper, enabling brazed joints that resist vibration and thermal cycling.

The discharge line connects through a 3/4 inch female port, and the suction line uses a 7/8 inch stub, so pipe sizing stays consistent with common refrigeration headers. During position changes, leakage is limited to 6000 cm³ per minute, reducing bypass losses that would otherwise raise energy use. When paired with R410A refrigerant, the valve supports up to 61.39 kW of capacity, matching mid-sized commercial heat pumps without oversizing the component. The assembly endures vibration levels up to 19.6 m/s², important for skid-mounted units where compressors transmit dynamic loads. These characteristics let the 061L1355 switch flow reliably while controlling pressure drop, maintaining thermal performance, and resisting mechanical stress in automated hydraulic systems.
