The 061L1347 reversing valve is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the STF Reversing Valves series and is intended to redirect flow in hydraulic automation circuits. The valve body is made of copper, which provides corrosion resistance for refrigerant service. It tolerates ambient temperatures from -30 °C to 55 °C, allowing outdoor equipment to operate in varied climates. A maximum working pressure of 49 bar lets the valve handle high-pressure refrigerants, while a minimum differential pressure of 3 bar is required for reliable shifting and up to 31 bar can be accommodated without malfunction. The suction connection measures 54.4 mm to match large compressors, and vibration stability of 19.6 m/s² helps the assembly resist mechanical shock during compressor cycling.
Flow leaving the compressor exits through a 41.2 mm male discharge connection, then passes back through a 54.4 mm evaporator-condenser port that enables circuit reversal during defrost. Internal passages withstand medium temperatures from -30 °C to 160 °C so both cold suction gas and hot discharge gas can pass safely. Leakage across the slide is limited to 20 000 cm³/min, reducing refrigerant loss during standby. When charged with R407C at a 0.1 bar pressure drop, the valve can redirect up to 142.58 kW of thermal capacity, and with R410A at a 0.2 bar drop it manages 259.92 kW, supporting high-capacity commercial heat pumps within the stated pressure constraints.
