The 061L1346 reversing valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series from Danfoss. It is installed in hydraulic automation loops to redirect refrigerant flow between heating and cooling modes in heat pump assemblies. The valve withstands a maximum working pressure of 49 bar, allowing it to sit on high-pressure R410A circuits without derating. It responds to differential pressures starting at 3 bar and up to 31 bar, so control solenoids can shift the slide reliably across typical load changes. The medium passage accommodates temperatures from –30 °C to 160 °C, covering both cold suction gas and hot discharge gas conditions. All process ports are fabricated from copper so installers can braze directly to standard refrigeration piping. The discharge outlet is a 41.2 mm male connection that matches common compressor headers, and the unit is delivered without a coil, letting OEMs choose the proper voltage assembly. When charged with R410A, capacity at a 0.1 bar pressure drop reaches 143.31 kW for large commercial duties.
The valve tolerates ambient air from –30 °C to 55 °C, so it can be mounted outside the conditioned envelope of rooftop equipment without added heaters. A 41.7 mm suction connection maintains full-bore return flow and pairs with the previously mentioned discharge size to minimize pressure loss across the circuit. Internal sealing limits leakage to 15 000 cm³ per minute, protecting compressor efficiency during standby. The assembly resists mechanical stress up to 19.6 m/s², supporting reliable performance on frames that experience vibration from reciprocating compressors. With R407C refrigerant, it delivers 110.87 kW at the same 0.1 bar condition, giving designers an alternative fluid while retaining comparable capacity. These operating boundaries provide the data needed to size solenoid coils, piping, and supports so the 061L1346 can integrate cleanly into automated refrigeration packs.
