The 061L1324 reversing valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss for directional control in hydraulic automation circuits. It functions within ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 55 °C, so it can be mounted in plant rooms or exposed outdoor locations. Medium temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 140 °C allow the valve to handle both cold suction gas and hot discharge gas without material fatigue. A maximum working pressure of 45 bar keeps the body sealed under high-pressure operating conditions, while a minimum operating differential pressure of 1.7 bar ensures the slide shifts when the compressor cycles. The assembly also tolerates differential pressures up to 31 bar, giving margin for transient spikes. All process connections are copper, which simplifies brazing during installation and resists corrosion in refrigeration lines.
The discharge port is a 1/2 in female connection that attaches directly to standard compressor discharge stubs, and both the suction and evaporator/condensing ports use 5/8 in tubing to maintain equal flow area on the low-pressure side. Internal leakage is limited to 1 500 cm³/min, reducing bypass losses when the valve is energized but flow should be blocked. Vibration stability up to 19.6 m/s² lets the unit remain sealed on machinery subject to mechanical shock. The design is compatible with R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, and R410A, which broadens its applicability across legacy and modern refrigerant systems.
