The 061L1319 reversing valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss. It redirects refrigerant flow in hydraulic automation circuits, enabling heat-pump equipment to switch between heating and cooling modes. The unit remains operative in ambient air as cold as −20 °C and endures temperatures up to 55 °C, so outdoor cabinets can be used without additional climate control. A medium temperature limit of −30 °C keeps the valve functional when the circulating fluid is well below freezing. The suction connection is sized at 1 1/8 in, matching standard copper lines, and all process ports are fabricated from copper to simplify brazing and resist internal corrosion.

The valve supplies 27.6 kW of cooling capacity with R407C at a 0.1 bar pressure drop, allowing medium-tonnage systems to meet load without auxiliary bypass arrangements. Internal seals restrict leakage to no more than 6000 cm³/min, preserving charge and keeping suction pressure stable during idle periods. It tolerates vibration levels up to 19.6 m/s², so it may be mounted directly on the compressor shell without extra supports.
