The 061L1285 reversing valve belongs to the STF Reversing Valves series and is manufactured by Danfoss. It redirects refrigerant flow in hydraulic automation circuits so that a heat pump can switch between heating and cooling modes. The valve tolerates ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 55 °C, allowing installation in outdoor equipment. It accepts medium temperatures between -30 °C and 140 °C, covering both low suction and high discharge conditions. A maximum working pressure of 45 bar enables use with modern high-pressure refrigerants, while the operating differential pressure spans 3 bar to 31 bar to guarantee reliable slide movement. Internal sealing restricts external leakage to 15 000 cm³/min, supporting system efficiency and safety.
Copper process connections permit direct brazing into standard piping. The discharge port is a 41.2 mm male connector suited to common compressor outlets. Separate 41.7 mm connections are provided for suction and for the evaporator/condensor circuit, reducing pressure loss across the valve. Using equal diameters on these branches simplifies piping layout and spare parts stocking. The assembly resists vibration up to 19.6 m/s², maintaining positional stability when mounted on vibrating machinery.
