The 061L1284 reversing valve is manufactured by Danfoss for the STF Reversing Valves series and is fitted to hydraulic refrigeration circuits to reverse flow between suction and discharge lines. The valve tolerates a maximum working pressure of 45 bar, enabling operation in high-pressure systems. A minimum operating differential of 3 bar secures positive shifting, while the maximum differential of 31 bar prevents overstressing during changeover. Resistance to vibration is rated at 19.6 m/s², limiting wear when the compressor vibrates. All pressure parts are made of copper, permitting direct brazing into standard tubing. The female discharge port measures 38.35 mm, giving a fixed interface for the hot-gas line, and the valve works with R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, or R410A refrigerants.
The 061L1284 remains functional in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 55 °C, allowing outdoor installation in varying climates. The internal slide and seals cope with medium temperatures between -30 °C and 140 °C, so the unit handles both cold suction gas and hot discharge gas. Leakage across the ports does not exceed 15 000 cm³/min, keeping system losses within acceptable limits when de-energized. A suction connection size of 45.15 mm matches large-capacity compressors and maintains low pressure drop on the return line. These temperature, leakage, and line-size characteristics complete the operating envelope of the model and confirm suitability for automated heat-pump circuits that need dependable directional control.
