The 061L1276 valve is supplied by Danfoss within the STF Reversing Valves series. It shifts flow direction in hydraulic automation loops so heat pump or cooling circuits can alternate between heating and cooling states. The unit follows design configuration style B, establishing an internal port layout matched to standard refrigeration packages. Both process interfaces are copper, permitting direct brazing into copper headers without adapters. The suction side is prepared with a 3/4 inch connection, while the discharge side uses a 1/2 inch female port to mate to common service fittings. Compatible refrigerants include R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, and R410A, letting one catalog item cover multiple plant fluids. At 0.801 kg it adds little mass to suspended pipework, which helps keep support hardware light.
The unit remains functional in ambient temperatures from −30 °C to 55 °C, so rooftop or unconditioned machine rooms do not force additional enclosures. Internal passages accommodate media between −30 °C and 140 °C, covering cold suction gas and hot discharge liquid in heat-pump duty. It handles working pressures up to 45 bar, and the maximum operating differential pressure is 35 bar; the valve will still reverse once the differential falls to the 3 bar minimum. Leakage across closed ports is limited to 4000 cm³ per minute, controlling compressor short-cycling. Dynamic service is supported by vibration stability of 19.6 m/s², allowing installation on mobile frames or near reciprocating machinery.
