The 061L1220 valve is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the STF Reversing Valves series. It directs refrigerant flow in hydraulic automation circuits that require dependable change-over between heating and cooling paths. The discharge port is a 1/2 in female connection, while the suction and evaporator/condensor ports are both 3/4 in to simplify piping symmetry. All process connections are copper, allowing brazed joints with standard refrigeration tubing. The valve tolerates a maximum working pressure of 41.5 bar and switches reliably between lines when the operating pressure difference is kept between 3 bar and 31 bar. A solenoid coil is not included, so users must mount a correctly rated coil to actuate the slide.
Ambient service temperatures can range from -20 °C to 55 °C, and the internal parts accept media temperatures from -20 °C up to 120 °C without loss of function. The assembly withstands vibration levels of 19.6 m/s², supporting installation on compressors or mobile frames. Internal leakage is limited to 1500 cm³/min, restricting cross-port bypass when the slide is seated. The net weight is 0.38 kg, which eases handling during line brazing or retrofit work. These limits confirm stable switching and sealing behavior across typical refrigeration duty cycles.
