The 061L1152 reversing valve is produced by Danfoss within the STF Reversing Valves series and is installed in hydraulic automation circuits to reverse the flow path during heating or cooling cycles. This model is supplied without a coil, so the installer must select a compatible solenoid assembly separately to actuate the slide. The discharge port has an inside diameter of 12.80 mm, providing a defined passage for high-pressure fluid leaving the compressor line. The suction port measures 19.15 mm inside, allowing lower-pressure return flow with minimal restriction. Component handling is straightforward because the valve weighs 0.78 kg, and its internal cavity volume of 2.377 L accommodates the required charge without excessive pressure drop.

When used with R407C refrigerant and a condenser pressure drop of 0.1 bar, the valve supports a heat exchange load of 16.1 kW; raising the pressure drop to 0.2 bar lifts the capacity to 22.66 kW. With R410A under the same conditions the capacity is 20.81 kW at 0.1 bar and 29.35 kW at 0.2 bar, indicating greater mass flow potential. These ratings define the maximum thermal duty the valve can handle without exceeding allowable pressure losses in typical heat pump circuits. By matching the valve to the appropriate refrigerant and design pressure drop, system engineers can balance flow efficiency and energy transfer while ensuring reliable reversal action.
