The 061L1145 reversing valve is built by Danfoss for the STF Reversing Valves series and is installed to switch fluid paths in hydraulic automation loops. It follows valve style D, meaning the internal slide shifts flow between suction and discharge lines without external pilot tubing. The valve tolerates ambient temperatures from −20 °C to 55 °C so it can be mounted near compressors or outdoor units without extra shielding. Copper is used for the connections, allowing direct brazing to standard refrigeration piping. The discharge port is sized at 3/8 in (9.70 mm) while the suction port measures 5/8 in (16.03 mm), establishing the correct diameter difference for high- and low-pressure branches. A vibration stability rating of 19.6 m/s² lets the assembly remain leak-free when subjected to mechanical pulses common in start-stop cycles.
The valve accepts the refrigerants R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, and R410A, giving installers flexibility to match common system charges. Internal passages handle medium temperatures between −20 °C and 120 °C so hot-gas defrost or cooling return cycles do not exceed material limits. Maximum working pressure is 45 bar, with an operating differential window from 3.43 bar minimum to 31 bar maximum to ensure reliable slide movement across load conditions. Leakage across closed ports does not exceed 1500 cm³/min, helping maintain efficiency when the flow is redirected. Together these parameters let the 061L1145 perform consistent reversing duties in automated hydraulic circuits that require tight sealing under varied pressures and temperatures.
