The 061L1143 reversing valve is manufactured by Danfoss within the STF Reversing Valves series and is used to direct flow between suction and discharge lines in hydraulic automation circuits. It operates in ambient conditions from -20 °C to 55 °C and accommodates medium temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 120 °C, so it can carry both cold and hot fluid without degradation. Continuous service is rated for 45 bar, defining the highest line pressure the body can endure, while copper process connections simplify brazing into standard pipework. The assembly withstands vibration levels up to 19.6 m/s², allowing installation on compressors or mobile equipment. On the discharge side, an 8.1 mm female port provides the required outlet for compact high-pressure lines.
The valve mates with 9.7 mm ports on both the suction line and the evaporator-condenser branch to standardize tubing across the system and reduce inventory. Static leakage is limited to 1000 cm³ per minute to minimize refrigerant loss when the spool is in transition. The pilot circuit needs at least 3 bar differential pressure to shift, and it functions reliably up to 31 bar differential, giving broad control latitude. When used with R410A and a 0.2 bar condensing pressure differential, the valve supports a capacity of 7.79 kW, matching medium-tonnage heat pump requirements. These parameters finalize its hydraulic profile and confirm suitability for high-pressure, space-efficient automation systems.
