The 148B6103 stop check valve is produced by Danfoss for the SCA Check and Stop Valves series and is intended for hydraulic automation lines that need both isolation and backflow protection. Steel connections supply the strength required for welded assemblies, while a butt-weld interface manufactured to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 40 aligns the valve with common industrial pipe wall thicknesses. A nominal size of 125 mm supports high-volume circuits, and the angleway body turns flow through 90 degrees to simplify routing in tight layouts. An embossed one-way arrow on the housing identifies the permitted flow direction so installers position the valve correctly.
The flow coefficient is rated at 356 gal/min (Cv) and 301 m³/h (Kv), allowing engineers to estimate system pressure loss with standard formulas. Continuous service is permitted up to 52 bar, and the body withstands media temperatures from −60 °C to 150 °C, covering low-temperature refrigerants and hot process fluids. The internal check disc lifts when upstream pressure exceeds downstream pressure by 0.04 bar, so minimal differential is needed to establish flow.
