The 148B5208 check and stop valve is part of the SCA Check and Stop Valves series from Danfoss and is used to isolate or allow flow in hydraulic automation lines. This standard version valve is equipped with steel connections machined to the EN 10220 pipe standard. An angleway body orientation helps designers turn a pipeline through ninety degrees without extra fittings. A 15 mm butt-weld inlet lets technicians join the valve directly to matching tube, while the flow coefficient of 8 m³/h defines the expected pressure drop at given conditions. The assembly withstands working pressures up to 52 bar, and it requires a minimum differential pressure of 0.04 bar to seat reliably.
A corresponding 15 mm butt-weld outlet mirrors the inlet for balanced installation. The internal volume of 4.756 L affects evacuation and refrigerant charge calculations during commissioning. Operating temperatures can range from −60 °C to 150 °C, enabling use with very cold or moderately hot process media. The valve ships at a gross weight of 2.084 kg, while the net weight of 1.75 kg represents the mass installed on the line. These weight and thermal characteristics support equipment layouts that demand low inertia and broad service temperature capability.
