The 017D002766 pressure switch belongs to the RT Pressure Switches series from Danfoss and is applied to initiate or interrupt control signals in hydraulic automation when system pressure crosses a defined threshold. The unit withstands ambient temperatures from -50 °C to 70 °C, which permits reliable service on equipment exposed to cold starts and high-temperature engine bays. An IP66 enclosure rating protects the mechanism against dust ingress and high-pressure water spray so the switch can be mounted on mobile machines or wash-down stations. Continuous duty is supported up to 11 bar, aligning with low-pressure hydraulic return lines, while a maximum adjustable differential of 0.3 bar and a fixed contact differential of 0.03 bar let the installer set narrow on/off bands for stable pump cycling. For the control circuit, the contacts are rated at 25 VA on 24 V AC or DC supplies, allowing the switch to drive relays, solenoid pilot valves, or signaling lights without an interposing amplifier. Automatic reset returns the contacts to their normal state as pressure falls, eliminating the need for manual intervention during routine pressure fluctuations. Electrical entry is handled through a screwed cable gland interface sized 2 × Pg 13.5 that follows DIN 40430, offering strain relief and standardized termination across European machinery. Process pressure is introduced through a G-thread, 3/8 in. port machined to ISO 228-1, which fits common hydraulic adapters.
