The 070-3480 pump belongs to the RSA Oil Pumps series from Danfoss and is used to move lubricating oil in automated hydraulic systems. This single-stage model delivers up to 299 L/h when driven at 3600 op/min, giving consistent flow for medium machinery. Its factory pressure setting is 10 bar, and the design tolerates a maximum working pressure of 21 bar for higher force demands. Inlet conditions allow 4 bar feed line pressure as well as a 0.4 bar suction vacuum, so tanks may be mounted above or below the unit. The maximum starting torque is 0.3 N-m, which lets a small motor bring the pump to speed without overloading the drive.
A ring filter with 170 cm² surface area and 150 µm grade is integrated to protect downstream components from debris. Oil temperature can range from −10 °C to 120 °C, enabling operation in diverse climates. A single-pipe connection simplifies installation on compact skids, while the 7/16-inch shaft diameter fits common flexible couplings for mechanical alignment.
