The 070-3470 pump is part of the RSA Oil Pumps series from Danfoss and supplies pressurized oil to hydraulic automation systems. It uses a single-stage layout, so the stage count is 1 which limits moving parts and shortens maintenance time. Clockwise drive orientation is specified by rotation R and fits standard right-hand power units. A continuous flow capacity of 180 L/h keeps medium-sized actuators fed without excess recirculation. The factory pressure is preset at 10 bar to give uniform baseline pressure in closed loop circuits. To avoid cavitation the pump must never drop below the minimum pressure of 5.5 bar, yet it safely reaches a maximum pressure of 21 bar for brief load spikes. An L-type nozzle outlet positions the discharge line for compact manifold connections.
The model can operate on a biofuel blend of 100 percent, enabling renewable fuel use where compatibility with mineral oil is required. It withstands a maximum ambient temperature of 120 °C and a minimum ambient temperature of –20 °C, allowing installation in hot engine bays or unheated plant rooms. Fluid limits are set between a minimum medium temperature of –10 °C and a maximum medium temperature of 120 °C so the pump keeps viscosity within an acceptable range. Return piping must stay below a maximum suction or return pressure of 4 bar to protect internal seals. An internal screen offers a filter area of 170 cm², while its filter grade of 150 µm stops coarse particles before they reach the gear set. A maximum starting torque of 0.30 Nm lets compact electric motors start the unit without overloading.
