The 180B6189 pump belongs to the PAHT G High Pressure Pumps series from Danfoss and supplies pressurized fluid for hydraulic automation where compact, positive-displacement units are required. Its body is manufactured from AISI 316, giving corrosion resistance to aggressive process water, while NBR seals keep the housing tight against compatible media. Fluid enters through a 1 1/2 in inlet port sized to control suction velocity and reduce cavitation risk, and leaves through a 1 in outlet port that connects directly to high-pressure manifolds. Each shaft rotation moves 90 cm³ of liquid, defining the geometric displacement used to calculate theoretical flow. The suction side tolerates 20 barg peak inlet pressure so a booster circuit can be added if the supply tank is remote, and the discharge side withstands up to 160 barg to drive downstream actuators. The speed range stretches from a continuous 1000 rpm to a maximum of 1800 rpm, allowing direct coupling to standard four-pole or six-pole electric motors without gearbox reduction. When supplied from a 50 Hz grid the duty requires a 45 kW motor, whereas a 60 Hz installation calls for a 75 hp drive, ensuring the shaft can deliver full hydraulic output without overload. Both ambient and media temperatures may reach 50 °C, so the pump operates reliably in warm production areas without auxiliary cooling. During service it produces a sound pressure level of 86 dB(A), information used to evaluate workplace noise exposure and decide on acoustic shielding. Torque demand peaks at 246.6 Nm at the rated outlet pressure, giving designers the data needed to select couplings and verify shaft strength in the drive train.
