The 180B0079 pump in the PAH Displacement Pumps series is produced by Danfoss for hydraulic automation tasks that require stable high-pressure water supply. It displaces 20 cm³ per revolution, and at its rated upper speed of 1800 rpm it can deliver up to 34.9 l/min, while still remaining functional down to 700 rpm for partial load duty. The outlet circuit can be set anywhere between 30 and 80 barg, allowing the unit to serve equipment that alternates between maintenance flow and process flow. Inlet conditions are limited to 4 barg, fed through a 1 1⁄4 in port, and the discharge leaves through a 3 ⁄4 in port for straightforward piping. The stainless steel AISI 304 housing resists corrosion under continuous exposure to water-glycol mixes often used in hydraulic systems.
Installation environments can run from 0 °C to 50 °C ambient, so the pump can be mounted in unheated service areas as well as warm plant rooms without supplementary climate control. The process liquid itself must stay between 2 °C and 50 °C so that viscosity and seal life remain within design limits. An NBR seal set is fitted to isolate the high-pressure stage from the drive end, giving consistent elasticity against the stated temperature window. During normal operation the acoustic emission reaches 79 dBA, which informs enclosure design or ear protection policy in occupied zones. By combining this controlled noise level with the temperature allowances noted above, the 180B0079 maintains predictable performance across a broad range of industrial washing, cutting, or forming stations.
