The unit turns in a counter-clockwise direction, allowing it to mate with prime movers that follow left-hand rotation conventions. The housing attaches to power units with a 2-bolt flange, and a 50 mm pilot diameter centers the pump to minimize misalignment. A BABSL shaft seal made from Viton resists heat and oil, retaining fluid while tolerating high peripheral speeds.
