The ZSFW100F1-1-1X/M/01 prefill valve belongs to the ZSF Prefill Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is applied in hydraulic presses or accumulators where large volumes must be admitted quickly to a cylinder. With a nominal size of 100, the valve can pass up to 1900 l/min when the pressure differential is 0.3 bar, keeping filling times short in high-capacity systems. Its pressure-retaining parts withstand operating pressures up to 350 bar, allowing it to sit on main lines without auxiliary relief devices. A 1.0 mm nozzle in channel P moderates pilot flow so the main poppet opens smoothly. The body can be fixed in any orientation, which simplifies layout inside compact manifolds, and the connection at port P is a G1 thread for direct link to primary supply lines. Port A is limited to 16 bar so return flow to tanks or low-pressure chambers stays within safe limits. The assembled unit weighs 15 kg, permitting manual handling during installation.
For pilot functions, port X carries a G3/8 thread and can be charged up to 150 bar, providing the force required to shift the poppet without overloading the control circuit. If remote actuation is required, a 4WE 6 D directional valve can be added to switch the pilot pressure on and off. The manifold interface follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, enabling the product to mount beside standard NG6 control blocks. Eight M27 × 180 screws secure the housing to the counter face, and each screw must be tightened to 1150 N·m to maintain sealing integrity under peak load. The mating surface should be finished to a maximum roughness of Rz 4 µm so the soft seals seat properly without extrusion. These mechanical details allow the valve to integrate reliably into heavy-duty press frames while preserving quick response and leak-free operation.
