The ZSF100F0-1-1X/M/12 prefill valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZSF Prefill Valves series and is intended to admit and exhaust large oil volumes in hydraulic presses and similar automation systems. With a nominal size of 100, the unit supports high flow rates required by large bore cylinders. A flange connection type allows the body to be bolted directly to a tank or manifold, reducing external piping. The main poppet stroke of 22.0 mm establishes the maximum opening height so full bore flow is available during the filling phase. A control spool stroke of 15.0 mm sets the travel of the pilot element that initiates poppet movement. The effective area of the main poppet is 73.13 cm², which governs the hydraulic force acting to keep the valve closed under system pressure. The control spool presents an effective area of 15.90 cm², allowing proportional pilot forces to modulate opening. When the valve is commanded open, 25.5 cm³ of pilot oil must be supplied to fill the pilot chamber and shift the elements. An unchecking ratio of 4.6 relates the closing area to the seating area, promoting secure reseating once pilot pressure is removed. Continuous service is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, enabling use in high-pressure power units. Port A is limited to 16 bar so back pressure on the tank side remains within seal capability, while Port X tolerates up to 150 bar to drive the pilot functions. Port P is machined with a 15/16-12 UN thread, and Port X uses a 7/8-14 UNF thread, simplifying hose selection for feed and pilot lines. The dynamic seals are made from NBR to provide compatibility with common mineral-based hydraulic fluids. No directional valve set-up is included, meaning an external pilot valve must supply control pressure and venting paths. These interface parameters confirm suitability for automated filling circuits where rapid cylinder charging and reliable shut-off are required.
