The ZDRDP24075YM50YM pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is intended to hold downstream pressure at a set value in hydraulic automation circuits. It is built in nominal size 6 so it fits standard NG6 subplates. Pressure reduction takes place in channel P, which allows designers to protect sensitive consumer ports while the supply line remains at higher pressure. The secondary pressure is limited to 75 bar to keep actuators downstream from exceeding their rated load. Upstream pressure may reach 350 bar, supporting high-pressure pumps without damage to the housing. A maximum back pressure of 160 bar is permitted at port T, ensuring safe tank return conditions. The valve passes up to 50 l/min so it can serve medium-flow cylinders and motors. Pilot oil is drawn internally and returned externally, and adjustment is made with a sleeve that has a hexagon and cap, preventing accidental changes in the field.
The permissible viscosity range from 10 to 800 mm²/s covers common mineral and fire-resistant fluids used in mobile and industrial systems. Operating fluid temperature between −30 and +80 °C supports cold starts and elevated ambient conditions. Compatible media include HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC, so users can select oils or water-glycol blends to match fire safety or wear limits. A cleanliness class of ISO 4406 20/18/15 (c) is required to minimize spool wear and avoid pressure drift. There is no integrated check valve, therefore reverse flow must be handled by external components if the circuit demands it. The unit can be mounted in any orientation, giving designers flexibility in manifold layout. Its porting pattern follows ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, allowing direct mounting on NG6 blocks without extra drilling. A G1/4 test port 12 mm deep is provided for gauges, enabling quick verification of the reduced pressure during commissioning.
