The ZDR6DP7-4X/150YM/12 is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It limits pressure in hydraulic automation systems, using a secondary pressure setting of 150 bar to hold downstream lines at a constant value. A rotary knob with a scale lets maintenance staff fine-tune the setpoint while the machine is running. Pressure reduction occurs in port P, and pilot oil is taken internally then returned externally to minimize cross-port leakage. The unit tolerates an inlet pressure of 350 bar and back pressure of 160 bar at port T. Nominal size 6 and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 pattern fit common subplates.
The valve supports flows up to 50 l/min, making it suitable for medium-capacity circuits. Fluid cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 (C) 20/18/15 to protect the regulating spool from wear. Acceptable fluid temperatures range from ‑30 °C to 80 °C, covering cold starts and elevated oil conditions. Viscosity can vary between 10 mm²/s and 800 mm²/s without affecting function. The design is supplied without a check valve, so reverse flow must be handled by an external component. Four M5 ISO 4762-10.9 screws fasten the housing to the manifold and hold the seals in compression during cyclic pressure loads.
