The ZDR6DP3-4X/25YM/12 is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and is used to maintain a stable outlet pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It conforms to nominal size 6, allowing installation on NG6 manifolds, and bolts to sub-plates through the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface. Pressure is reduced in channel P, and the pilot oil is taken internally while returning externally, which simplifies upstream plumbing. A lockable rotary knob with a scale lets the operator set the desired outlet; the reduced side is limited to 25 bar, while the inlet side can be exposed to as much as 350 bar. These features support compact pressure control where fast and repeatable adjustment is required.
The unit handles flows up to 50 l/min and tolerates 160 bar counter-pressure on the return line without malfunction. A G1/4 pressure gauge port with a depth of 12 mm is provided to monitor the regulated side. To prevent silt-induced wear, the hydraulic fluid must meet ISO 4406 (C) 20/18/15 cleanliness, and it must stay within a viscosity window of 10 to 800 mm²/s. Operation is permitted from −30 to +80 °C, and NBR seals are fitted to contain mineral oils across that range. There is no built-in check valve, so reverse flow must be managed externally.
