The ZDR6DP3-4X/210YM pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It maintains a stable secondary pressure in hydraulic automation circuits that require controlled pressure on the P line. The unit follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern and fits nominal size 6 mounting interfaces, making it straightforward to stack within modular manifolds. Its sandwich plate design allows insertion between subplates without additional piping. Pressure is set by a lockable knob with a scale so operators can reproduce settings after maintenance. The valve limits inlet pressure to 350 bar and reduces it to 210 bar for downstream components. Pilot oil is taken internally while returning externally, and the backpressure at port Y may reach up to 160 bar without disturbing regulation.
The valve handles flows up to 50 l/min through the regulated channel and accepts hydraulic fluids of the HL, HLP, or HLPD types specified in DIN 51524. It continues to function with viscosities as high as 800 mm²/s, provided the fluid cleanliness class remains at ISO 4406 20/18/15. System builders can attach a pressure gauge via the G1/4 port for monitoring the reduced side. There is no integrated check valve, so reverse flow protection must be provided elsewhere in the circuit. Sealing elements are made from NBR to suit conventional mineral oils. The pressure reduction occurs in channel P only, reinforcing its role in feed line regulation.
